You definitely want your intervention to outlive your presence in the community.To achieve this:Involve members of your intervention community as stakeholders. Here is an example from a community intervention I contributed to:We trained and inaugurated Community Child Protection Committees, and Community Female Mentors. All these groups were run by the community members. So even after the close of the project, these structures still functioned because they constituted the community members, with the leadership of the community leaders.This strategy also promoted the community ownership of the intervention.
