The2024 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival makes its annual return June 13.
On Thursday, the 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, will be transformed into a colorful, eclectic paradise, brought to life with the rhythms and beats of hip-hop, alternative, electronic, pop and more. Last year's festival saw explosive, unforgettable sets from Lil Nas X, Paramore, Foo Fighters, Knocked Loose, Three 6 Mafia and others.
This year's festival is slated to be an even grander spectacle.
The festival will kick off with a special Thursday night headline set featuring a performance by Pretty Lights, who will also perform a second sunrise set on The Other Stage over the weekend. According to event organizers, Sunday night’s headline set will mark the only U.S. festival performance by Fred Again.. in 2024. Some of this year's performances will once again be livestreamed on Hulu.
Returning to the festival in 2024 is the special edition of SuperJam, set for Saturday, June 15, in That Tent. The all-star collab will be "Once More with Feeling(s) - The Dashboard Confessional Emo Superjam" and will include special guest performances and surprises.

When is Bonnaroo 2024? Where is it?
Bonnaroo takes place on Thursday, June 13, through Sunday, June 16, in Manchester, Tennessee. Manchester is about 65 miles from Nashville. It is the county seat of Coffee County.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation says Exit 111 will be used as the main festival exit, alternate exits will be used if congestion occurs on the interstate.

How many stages are at Bonnaroo?
Acts perform across 10 stages in both Centeroo and Outeroo.
Centeroo is the main performance venue where the majority of the stages are located. The Centeroo stages include the What Stage, the Which Stage, the Other Stage, and the Who Stage. Also located within Centeroo is the fountain, Splash-a-roo and different food, drink and merch vendors.
Outeroo is the where the campgrounds are located. Outeroo stages include the Rest Stop, House of Yes, Groop Camp, and Galactic Giddy Up. Also found within Outeroo are a multitude of plazas which host various different activities for festival goers.
How much does it cost to attend Bonnaroo?
Depending on the festival experience you're after, attending Bonnaroo can run up a high bill.
Four-day general admission tickets begin at $450 and go as high as $4,155 for platinum. Two-day general admission tickets begin at $348, with general admission plus costing $590. One-day general admission tickets are priced at $174 and can run as high as $1,830.
Factor in the cost of food, other miscellaneous items and activities, mileage and airfare (depending on where you're coming from) and Bonnaroo can set you back an ample amount.
What's the bag policy at Bonnaroo?
Within Centeroo, small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6 by 9 inches or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket. Bags larger than 6 by 9 inches must be smaller than 12 by 6 by 12 inches and clear. Framed backpacks, multiple pocket backpacks and any pack that is not aligned with the bag dimensions are prohibited.
Hydration packs are allowed and don't need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets - one for the reservoir and one additional pocket.
What items are allowed at Bonnaroo? What items are prohibited?
Here are the items that are allowed and prohibited in Centeroo.
Allowed:
- Baby strollers
- Frisbees
- Binoculars
- Blankets, sheets and towels
- Cameras without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
- Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers is allowed in the size of 3.4 ounces or less
- Personal-sized hand sanitizer
- Totems (Less than 7 feet tall, and less than 1 inch in diameter. Must be made of light material: swim noodles, foam type material, cardboard tubes, fabric, light plastic, balloons, aluminum and/or blow up items.)
- Factory-sealed Naloxone/Narcan kit
Prohibited:
- Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products
- Coolers of any kind
- Any and all professional camera, video and recording equipment
- Drones or any other remote flying device
- Hammocks
- Inflatables of any kind
- Glass containers of any kind
- Illegal and illicit substances of any kind
- Outside food or beverage (including alcohol) of any kind
- Umbrellas
- Pets (except service animals)
- Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles
- Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
- Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors
- Weapons or explosives of any kind
- Fireworks
- Large chains or spiked jewelry
- Bicycles inside festival grounds
- Carts of any kind (including Red Wagons)

Here are the items that are allowed and prohibited in Outeroo.
Allowed:
- Alcohol (2 cases of beer per person, 2 boxes of wine per person per car and 1-1.75 liter of hard liquor per person per car)
- Food / drinks
- Point-and-shoot cameras / cameras with detachable lens less than 2 inches long
- Portable camping grill with 40 pounds of charcoal per grill per vehicle will be allowed. If you aren't bringing in a grill you won't be allowed any charcoal. Propane tanks 20 pounds or smaller will be allowed. Only 1 propane tank per grill per vehicle or 2 small "Coleman" type tanks per grill per vehicle)
- Generator (smaller than 4KW and 1 generator per vehicle. No more than 10 gallons of gasoline in an appropriate container per generator per vehicle will be allowed. Any amount greater than that will be confiscated. If you aren't bringing in a generator you won't be allowed to bring any gas.)
- Instruments
- Camping tools (tent mallets, tent anchors, knives no longer than palm length for cooking purposes)
- Hand tools
- Factory-sealedNaloxone/Narcan kit
Prohibited:

What should you pack for Bonnaroo?
Here is a list of everything you might need while on the farm:
- Camping gear (Tents, shelters, sleeping bags, tarp, a shade structure)
- Cooler and/or water jugs to refill (ice is available for purchase)
- Lantern/ flashlight/ headlamp
- Batteries
- Stainless steel water bottle
- Camping chairs and tables
- Rain gear and mud boots
- Hoodies, extra shoes/sneakers, hats and bandanas
- Blankets
- Earplugs
- Portable speakers or radio
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Biodegradable plastic bags for trash
- Extra toilet paper
- Campsite identifiers (flags or balloons)
- Extra set of keys to keep with you at all times
Can you attend Bonnaroo without camping?
Yes, you can attend Bonnaroo without camping.
The one day general admission ticket gives you admittance to one day of the festival however if you plan to bring a vehicle, you must also purchase a day parking pass to park in the Cosmic Nomads lot. 1-Day Ticket holders will not be permitted to bring their vehicle into Outeroo, regardless of the type of accommodation purchased.
Cars cannot be left overnight and you may not sleep in your car or camp next to your car. There are no in and out privileges for day parking passes.
Can you come in and out of Bonnaroo?
Leaving the Bonnaroo campgrounds is discouraged, but permitted.
If you must leave, you will need to scan your wristband and car pass as you exit so you can be allowed back in again. Depending on the time and traffic you also may not be able to leave until inbound traffic has died down.
Are children allowed to attend Bonnaroo?
Yes, there are no age restrictions at Bonnaroo so people of all ages are welcome to attend. However, proper ear protection is encouraged for minors. Families are able to camp in Family-roo, a quieter, family-friendly camping area.
